Project award to freelancers or subcontractors
Due to our diverse work areas and enormous workload, it makes sense to outsource clearly defined tasks and projects to freelancers and subcontractors.
Due to our mandates and our obligation to maintain confidentiality with our clients, it is common practice to apply for an unknown project with the available qualifications.
Only after verifying the seriousness and qualifications of the applicants, as well as the requirements for, for example, government projects and security-relevant applications, can a further level of consideration be considered.
What does an application for an unknown project look like?
- Applications must be submitted in writing and in a concise format, meaning only our application form is acceptable! Individual or mass email submissions will not be processed!
- After we contact you, further steps will follow. If we don’t contact you, you can assume that we haven’t received your application.
- If you receive a rejection, we ask that you accept this as a professional decision and keep your options open for other opportunities. No further communication is necessary.
- Typically, after a positive response, you will be asked again whether we may continue to manage your data in our freelancer pool so that we can arrange suitable projects or test tasks with you. However, this is already assumed in our application form; otherwise, an application would be pointless.
What do you need to be able to handle tasks and projects?
- Proven excellent experience in structured programming
– Independent structuring of the assigned task into subtasks (if necessary)
– Clear English documentation of each task, to clearly communicate your approach to colleagues and partners
– Excellent experience using GitHub and the required libraries
– Strict adherence to all programming guidelines and communication requirements
– Proof of concept and references are required
(Inquiries from reference clients regarding projects must be permitted! Fake references must be excluded) - Use of advanced written and spoken English to communicate with project management and colleagues
- Clear scope of work and calculation
– Transparent task time determination and task calculation with responsible scope of work - Completion of a test task under supervision and taking into account all criteria of a team project
– Rough specification is provided (story)
– Creation of a detailed task list
– Determination of effort/cost per task
– Project costs, manpower, and total time calculation
From this data, a test order is then defined and, if agreed upon, is contractually recorded.
